So the accuracy is fine and the pitting in the rifling doesn't seem to affect it much. Which I'm sure was common then to find whatever may have been available on the battlefield or in piles of captured guns and equipment. The holster is in very good shape with the markings jvd 1941 (as is common with these holsters, the 1 in 1941 is a little hard to see because the enclosure stud rests over it and wears there) and the Wa A 214 waffenamt. There is a very interesting story of the one legged deputy that used it as his duty revolver and how he gave it to the previous owner's uncle and the Uncle left it to him in 1942. The pistol itself is in 50-60% condition finish wise. I am including the case as well as the "Slim Jim" holster (made from an old boot) it came with.
